My favorite pens happen to be some of the most inexpensive. Go figure.

Or is it my favorite because it is the cheapest? Who knows. Here's what I do know: the blue colors on these are lighter (which I personally like), so they're more distinguishable from your darker blue ink on most blue pens. Also, I consistently get to use ALL the ink in every single pen without having the things poop-out on me. I have other pens that cost twice as much and I'm sitting there looking at a cartridge of full ink, going, "C'MON!!..what are you WAITING for?!!!". I usually just toss them. I still have a few left over, unfortunately. These are my go-to's and they're extremely reliable. A+

BIC Round Stic Xtra Life Ball Pen, Medium Point (1.0 mm), Blue & Black, 60-Count

School is just around the corner. Pens were an item needed on our supply list. I decided to go with these BIC Round Stic Xtra Life Ball Pen, Medium Point (1.0 mm), Blue & Black, 60-Count. I'm really happy that I purchased these for our supply list. These Pens offer both excellent value and quality at a reasonable price. I like that these come in a bulk pack of 60. The larger pack has enough pens in it to last the school year. These pens are medium point they feature a nice round barrel. The ink flows very smoothly with no smearing or smudging. They are perfect for back to school pens.

Our "go to" pen for a busy office.

We own a busy day spa and we go through a lot of pens. Our clients fill out intake forms and we also use pens to make SOAP notes and to write notes to each other in the schedule book and on post-its. We also need something that is not too expensive but is reliable enough to work the first time and every time. Finally we need to be able to buy pens in bulk. These BIC pens fit the bill perfectly. They work great and if a client "accidentally' walks off with one, it's not a big deal.

In the past we have tried to buy pens from companies that supply promotional products and they were a disaster... falling apart and not writing well. These BIC pens might be disposable but they are sturdy and last quite a while. They also look nice enough for a professional office with a kind of frosted grey, translucent appearance. We will be continuing to purchase these boxes for our office and are happy they are available to us.
Favorite brand

Ima very busy stay at home/homeschooling mom of 8 little ones all aged 9 and under. For some reason we seem to go through pens like crazy. Between me and the kids doing schooling, we always need more pens. I've been buying this particular brand for as far back as I can remember. I love these and they have never let me down. The write extremely well and hardly ever bleed. Not to mention they last a while. These will always be my go to brand when we need more pens.
If You Value Pen and Paper...

I'm getting older. Not necessarily wiser, but older. Okay, so some would say: "You're old, dude..." Whatever. I'm in the zip-code that brings with it a certain measure of short-term memory-loss. This getting old stuff is for the birds. I still like to write. Like pen on paper, you know, before everybody (or so it seems) was sucked into the vortex of electronic devices and became insular, distanced one from each other, but I could go on and on. These pens are great, they write well, and for less than the price of a decent burger at some fast-food outlet, you get a mess of 'em. At this price, you lose a few here and there, and hey, no heartache. You can spend more, but you can't better the value. Remember that word? VALUE.

NO MORE - blotching, intermittent chicken scratches, or wondering if this pen is going to work this time?! These BIC Pens, are my FAVORITE Pens! I write a lot... and they last, and last, and last...! It has been 5 maybe 6 years, since I last purchased a 60 pack of these BIC Pens. And after losing many, giving to those in need, and a few running out of ink. I came back for more! If there is a Pen Happy Dance, I am doing it right now! A pen, worthy of being hugged - just because of it's awesomeness!
Disclaimer: These Pens don't like being held upside down (They get dizzy), these Pens should not be used under water (How do you expect them, to breathe?), and these Pens also do "not" like your large fuzzy animals gnawing on them (since they can't defend themselves, without human help :-)
The box is actually smaller than I expected but that was a good thing for me

Well it's a box of pens. The box is actually smaller than I expected but that was a good thing for me. Didn't look forward to it taking up too much space home. In the box are smaller boxes of pens though, it comes in a set of 36 pens per box, so there were 4 small boxes of pens in the larger box. As for the pen itself, well it writes very smoothly, it feels light but not flimsy. The ink does not smudge, oh and the pen began writing from the first stroke. There was no scratching on a paper to get it to work, it worked from the start. The case/barrel of the pen is a translucent blue. Overall I am pleased with this purchase, the price was right, the pen works very good, it is built firm ( I wouldn't say solid) not flimsy and even though I use a lot of pens, I have pens for quite a while for both me and my son. When this set finish, I could see myself buying it again. Well done Bic Corporation and Amazon too and thank you :)
Have Bought These Pens Twice in Two Weeks

5.0 out of 5.0 by Sheila LS on August 24, 2015
I have bought these pens twice in the last couple of weeks. The first time, was for myself. Now I hardly ever need a pen anymore since I have a printer and MS Word to write up documents/letters/recipes, etc. but once in a while I need one for something like signing my name to a greeting card--can't do that with a computer. By the time I usually need an ink pen then all the ones I do have (very few) are so old they are dried out. So I was looking for some cheap ink pens to have on hand when I did need to use one--but ones that if they dried out, I would not have wasted spending a lot of money on them. And I always buy medium point pens when I do buy them. If you write hard, then a fine point pen will tear into the paper when you bare down too hard. I have now used these pens a few times since I bought them and find that they write very smoothly and that they do not smudge or leak on the paper. So I am very happy with these ink pens.

Then last night I ordered these same pens again but this time for my middle school grandson who has ADD and ADHD. I figure with his memory problem he would loose a lot of pens so I needed to buy him some that if he lost a couple it would be no big deal. Plus, because he is so emotional, I figure that he will write on paper pretty hard--so a fine point wouldn't work for him either. Don't know how well these work out for him yet because I just ordered them and he has received them yet. But I am sure that they will be just fine for him. Will update this review if it is not satisfactory for him.
These are probably the best pens I have ever bought!

I work at the post office. They have pens on chains. The customers tear the guts out of the pens, and/or break the chains. So, management orders ordinary pens (not on chains), but the only ones they are allowed to order are worthless. The ink skips and smears, and sometimes they don't work at all. Even when they do, the customers take them, and we're only allowed to order a certain amount of products in a certain amount of time. So I looked for some inexpensive pens I could afford to buy and "donate" to my job. I bought these because they were cheap. But good heavens, these pens are AMAZING. They write the first time they are used, they don't "skip", the ink flows evenly, they don't drop big blobs of ink in the middle of a sentence--or address, and they last a long time.....when the customers aren't taking them. But they're so inexpensive that I don't mind buying a box every 3-4 months! GREAT product!
Buying in bulk

I bought these pens due to the fact that I don't have the time anymore to shop at STAPLES here in Los Angeles,CA. The lines are always way too long.. This was a decent purchase and so far I haven't had any problems as of yet? I have six employees and two additional business partners. We are always losing pens.. So I pass these out to employees by two a week.. This was a outstanding value as far as I can tell . Our local CVS sells ink pens for 6,00 for 5..Or you can always drive over to Walmart/Target for office supplies? Either way some things are better bought in bulk and this is one of them!
