Gorilla Glue Crushes My Gluing Needs.

5.0 out of 5.0 by Kathleen Dennehy on October 8, 2017
This is the only superglue with a container that doesn't glue me to itself or to myself! I will never buy another Crazy Glue product because even if the product works, it doesn't matter if the containers suck. And by suck I mean the containers rip and the glue dries up only after one use or the container drips glue all over, gluing me to myself. Not my goal.
I put a healthy amount on edges plastic held it in place and it glued back good as new

When moving the movers nearly destroyed my dresser and broke a ton of the cheaply held together ikea joints! Gorilla glue came to the rescue and I was able to repair the joints and integrity enough to use it properly again.

A few weeks later someone decided to clip me while on my motorcycle and because i have a touring shield for snow and rain that covers hands a chunk broke off but again gorilla glue to the rescue! I put a healthy amount on edges plastic held it in place and it glued back good as new.. i then put a line on each side of crack still open to the elements just incase as i thought it would fail. 24hrs later i tried breaking that piece off with my hands and happy with the result rode with it.. This lasted 2 months until my shield was in stock again and never failed even with daily rides of 80mph+ in rain for few days too.
Actually Works Like They Say

This glue works great. An actual Super Glue that actually works. I prefer this gel because it's thicker than the regular type and won't run all over the place, accidentally gluing your fingers together. I have used it on porcelain, plastics, hard rubber with great results.
Works well but not my favorite

The glue does its job and I have had no issue with anything I glued with it, plastic to metal. I always get gel super glue because it is so much easier to work with. This was my first time using this brand and I found the consistency more runny than I am used to. I will keep the bottle around until it is used up since it does work but I will not be purchasing again. The Loctite is a much thiner gel and the way it dispenses out of the bottle keeps you from using too much, I will go back to that glue.

I broke a decorative plate from my mother minutes after getting home from family dinner. I felt terrible. I remembered the Gorilla Glue commercial from the TV and decided to try it out. Mom came for dinner and didnt even realize i had smashed it into tiny pieces. GREAT GLUE!
Shot the Gorilla Super Glue Gel into the separation with a syringe

Received product yesterday 5/25/18. Attempted to use 5/26/18, on a fiberglass laminate door, where the outer fiberglass covering was delaminating. Shot the Gorilla Super Glue Gel into the separation with a syringe, then applied constant pressure on the separation and not only was the glue not dry 4-5 minutes later, it also did not stick!

This was a total waste of time, energy, and expense! I gave it 1-Star because there wasn't a grading below 1-Star!

Also... In looking at the container, that I opened some 35 minutes ago (opened and closed after using a 10ml syringe with a 14 GA x 1.5" to extract approximately 2.25ml of glue from opening), It appears that the Gorilla Super Glue GEL that remained in the container, is apparently drying, or is dry...inside the closed container that was exposed to air, only as long as it takes to withdraw the above-mentioned glue. I'm guessing maybe 10-seconds!?

Conclusion: Glue didn't dry within 10-seconds, to 2-minute upon application, however, it seems to dry really well 30-minutes later in the container.
Strong!!!

I like this glue. I got upset when I put a rear view mirror on my truck using the expensive kits for installing a rear view mirror. I cleaned it off with a razor blade and put a couple of drops in the middle and stuck the mirror on and it actually held itself in place in no time at all. Actually it was faster than the two part kits for mirrors. I don't think anyone would be disappointed making this purchase.
Gel-based super glue all the way! I'm never going back!

This gel-like formula works like a dream. It is much easier to apply than the usual runny stuff and it dries just as strong. I've been using the same bottle for about 7 months now and it still works great! I don't know if the gel-like consistency has anything to do with it, but this particular bottle does a spectacular job keeping the glue fresh for future use. I've used other Gorilla super glues before and the bottle sealed up pretty quickly.

Not this one though! A+++
Great Purchase!

I love this more than the regualar kind. I ran out and needed more so I looked to Amazon to see what was out there. I was iffy about "gel" wasnt sure how it would actually be but you shake it well before use and barely notice it being gel it comes out nice and easier so it helps if you only need it in a certain spot verse is dripping all over.
i like it so far

just used once so far. so far, so good. the two unknowns so far are: a) will it hold what I glued and b) will the bottle spout/neck dry out and make it unusable. time will tell.
it says to shake. that was unexpected. also, the bottle is only about 1/2 full. probably to give room to shake.
after much shaking, i was unable to tell if anything had "properly mixed".
but it worked.

adding small dabs to a tiny part was easy...just lightly tap - don't squeeze.
