Great! I have dyed my hair before with other products but found really pleasant results doing it with this one.

So this is the 40 Level developer kit. It comes with gloves, hair plastic cap, bleach powder, 40 level cream developer peroxide.
I mistakenly bought the Manic Panic dye kit that comes with gloves and hair cap, but this one comes with it inside!

It comes with enough to cover short hair, I would advise if you have long or lot of hair, to get two of these.
I used about a third of the product only for my front part, (Picture attached), but I'm sure it would have been enough to dye all my hair.

PROS: It doesn't damage your hair as other products I used past years.

CONS: just enough for short hair
Excellent home lightener, especially for platinum blonde

Back in the 90s, I bleached my hair all the time. I was used to a 30 volume home kit that took forever to work on my dark brown hair, even with root coverage. (90 minutes plus, covered.)

I went with Manic Panic now because it's a brand I trust. The kit has everything you need to bleach: powder, developer creme, gloves, brush, and mixing bowl.

Now that I have the Internet to help, I learned a few things:
1. Slather on coconut oil for a few hours before bleaching. This helped prevent fried ends. My hair is so soft after treating, and looks much more natural.
2. Wrapping is important. Heat helps accelerate the bleaching. After wrapping my hair in plastic cling wrap, it took half an hour to get the results I wanted. I was truly shocked at how fast this 40 volume worked on my dark brown roots.
3. Toning - if you want that bleached look, stop here. But if you want platinum, get some toner! I bought Wella Color Charm T18 (White Ash Blonde) and their 20 volume developer creme, and applied it to mostly dried bleached hair. 10 minutes later, and I had awesome gray/platinum (which could easily be waaaay purple if left on too long). The purple balances out the Orange/brassy tones left from bleaching. I get tons of compliments on my hair, even questions if it's natural.

I could see how this could easily fry your hair if you're used to a weaker bleaching solution, so beware. Check your roots frequently for color to avoid crispy ends. But especially if you have dark hair, this works really well.
Did not damage my hair!!!!

I'm a naturally black haired asian who had my hair dyed dark brown with some medium blonde highlights. I wanted to take my hair even blonder so I purchased this kit and Davines color in Golden Blonde (not available on amazon but available for under $10 on ebay). I have super long (waist length) but fine hair and just wanted to do the bottom layer of my hair so it would blend into the top layer and look more natural (ok, blonde on asian is not natural, but you know what I mean). I followed the instructions on the box and mixed everything together, including the Davines color. I ended up only using about half the mixture even though I coated the bottom 2/3 layer of my hair generously. I left this on for 20 minutes and omg my hair looked amazing! I shampooed this out and followed with a Christophe Robin hair mask and my hair came out soft, silky, and undamaged!!! I mean I was expecting at least some change in texture or dryness but nope. I really recommend this kit because it lifted quickly, is super easy to use, comes with everything you need to do your hair including the mixing container, gloves, cap, and brush, and it is gentle on your hair!!
Good bleach, great accessories

This is pretty dang good bleach. A tiny bit pricey compared to my usual but I do like that it comes with a tinting brush, gloves, and cap. My hair was black and I got a professional bleach job that... wasn't great. Not the hairdressers fault, my hair is just difficult to bleach. I used the manic panic (1.5 boxes) and my hair became almost white in some places, lol. With a good toner it would have looked like a good blonde (I was dyeing teal though so I wanted the yellow). First photo is the professional job, second photo is the manic panic job. Third photo is my awesome teal hair.
but that goes for pretty much any bleach kit

I won't use anything else. This bleach kit damages your hair less than anything else on the market. Professional salon kits included. If you're waffling and can't decide, just stop now and buy this one. If you have long hair you'll want to buy two, but that goes for pretty much any bleach kit, it's not like this one includes less or anything.
First time using this and it worked great!

This was the first time I have ever used Manic Panic and I loved it! It didn't look like it was going to make much, but it made a ton! I regret mixing it all at once since I was just lightening to create chunky bleached areas to then use purple hair color for purple highlights in my hair. Had I been more frugal with it, I probably would get many multiple uses out of it. I applied the bleach and foiled and it worked so much better than other bleaches I've used. I highly recommend this!
My go to bleach since 2010

I have always stuck with Manic Panic bleach since I first dyed my hair in 2010. I have never had any issues with it. I find that for an even platinum that I want before dying my hair if I use Wella Silver Lady toner and purple shampoo my hair turns out looking really even and healthy, even if before using toner it was more on the yellow side. I also will usually use a coconut oil based conditioning mask to leep my hair from drying out. I'll always be a fan, just be aware that if you have longer hair you will need more than one container. I have fine individual hairs but a lot of hair, I recently grew my hair longer than it had been in years and I ran out of bleach. This was when my hair was shoulder length. The first photo was from after bleaching my hair and mixing Sparks purple/violet dye with conditioner. The second was the same night I bleaced with Manic Panic 40 volume bleach but ran out if bleach when I was 7/8 of the way done and had a friend run to the drug store to pick up more but ended up with the lightest blonde dye available. Last picture is from bleaching my hair and using Manic Panic forest green (I think that's the name).
Great for my super fine

Great for my super fine, delicate hair! I've never been able to use bleaching products without horrible results, but this blew me away. My hair is now almost white, when it had been a very dark brown. And it barely changed, I just make sure to liberally use conditioner after washing it. But make sure to get your hair trimmed after you use the bleach, it will leave the ends a little frizzed, but then it's just perfect!
Great for dark hair!

I have very dark hair and this bleached my hair super blond within half an hour! I was actually very surprised how quickly it bleached it. I do sections of my hair in blue, so bleaching it bright is necessary. I've also been doing this for years now and this bleach has been the best I've ever used! Definitely recommend!
Def. Works.

Definitely works good! I didn't cut my hair before I bleached. But my hair was under my chest and needed two jars. Do roots and ends last, waiting probably tenish minutes after doing sections.
Get toner!! My hair did turn yellow. Toning helped. Buy extra toner and developer. I needed two toners, so buy a big bottle of developer..
Added a before and after.
The toner I used was wella. I love wella. Works awesome.
