Great product, it holds very well

I died my hair blue and constantly had to get it touched up. Just one jar alone helped me touch up my hair about once a month. I have really long hair, and one jar lasted over 4 months. Great product, it holds very well, and it doesn't stain your towels or bedding after the first wash !

This worked great in my 10 yr olds hair. She has dark brown hair I did have to bleach the tips for the color to show. It has been 3 weeks and still has lots of color. As it fades it turns to turquiose. She says she has mermaid hair and loves it.
This color is vibrant!

I bought this blue to dye half my tips blue for my Harley Quinn cosplay. I've dyed my hair with the Hot Hot pink many times and I love Manic Panic dye! It is so vibrant which I love. This blue came out so blue that it was too dark for my cosplay, but the color was awesome. The second time I used it I diluted it with conditioner to lighten it and got the result I wanted. My one and only complaint, and I hate to even complain because I love their products, is that the blue does not wash out. It won't dye over, it wouldn't even bleach out. :/ I had to use a harsh color remover months after dying it just to remove it which sadly damaged my hair to where I had to just cut off those few inches. But despite the color being a pain to remove, it is pretty awesome! First photo is the straight dye left on for about 2 hours. Second picture is the dye dliuted with conditioner, and the third picture is the blue after I bleached my hair.
WOW Color

A beautiful dark blue color that goes on smoothly and easily. I have medium dark hair so I bleached before applying. (I used Manic Panic's Amplified Bleach. If you are doing a lot of hair, or your hair is long, I would get 2 bleach kits if you are using this particular brand.) Manic Panic is easy to apply - just apply the color where you want it, leave it (I left it for about an hour), rinse out. And rinse out. And rinse out. lol Expect to turn your towel blue - for the next couple of washes. The less you wash your hair, the longer it stays. After a few washes, this color will turn a light turquoise color. (Still pretty.) Right after coloring, be careful - ANYTIME your hair gets wet, the color WILL run. (It will also get under your nails when you scratch your head.) These minor annoyances don't bother me enough to stop using Manic Panic...but I would want to know this stuff before I used it.

Bottom Line: Manic Panic is the BEST product out there for coloring your hair funky shades. It lasts much longer than any other brand I've tried, it's easy application makes re-touches "cake", and the colors are bold and brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to use this brand, or color, again.
Smells fruity and feels easy on the hair.

Love the smell (like grapes!), color intensity, and how long it lasted in my hair. I had expected it to fade significantly but despite the deep blue fading to a bright teal, that was a color I really enjoyed and no shampooing would go lighter. (It lasted several weeks until I dyed my hair a darker color). My hair is naturally dark brown (almost black) but I bleached it to a light brown and after leaving this dye in for about an hour it was an electric blue. Watch out for your shower and bathtub, though. I noticed compared to Splat, Manic Panic makes much more of a mess that takes a good amount of bleach to the tiles to get off.

After having dyed my hair with another product and getting no result, I decided to try this. Boy did it work! I have light blonde hair and this dye made my hair electric blue. It does fade a bit, but slowly. It took about 6 weeks for the color to go away completely. It was also like a deep conditioner for my hair, leaving nice and healthy looking. If you're looking to change up your look a bit, this is the product for you.
Very vibrant - faded to turquoise.

If you want blue hair, this is definitely worth purchasing. I don't think this color will work well on dark hair - mine had already been bleached and it was a very vibrant blue.It is a very nice color. However, when it began to fade, it began to look a bit turquoise.
This color is beautiful, and it lasts a really long time

This color is beautiful, and it lasts a really long time. I believe I had it in my hair for around 3-4 months before it started to show signs of fading, and then I just switched to a different color. It also smells really nice, and has the added benefit of being very soft and conditioning to the hair!
Manic Panic hair that lasts

Works amazing! She actually wants it to fade out so she can trade colors and can't get it to fade after 5-6 weeks.
